Meet Coach Kara Jay

Hey, beloved! I’m Coach Kara Jay—a certified spiritual and life coach, nonprofit leader, and your partner in reclaiming your vision and purpose. My journey isn’t just about success—it’s about struggle, transformation, and leading unapologetically.

I climbed the corporate ladder, representing the Office of the CEO, yet despite the titles and accolades, I felt empty. I wanted more than a paycheck—I wanted impact. So, in 2014, I co-founded The F.I.N.D. Design to uplift Black girls and girls of color facing struggles I knew all too well.

But the real shift came at the Whitney Plantation, where I heard the story of an enslaved boy grateful for crumbs. It hit me—I had been settling too. That day, I chose abundance over crumbs, birthing Radical Freedom Dreaming—a framework that transformed my life, leadership, and organization. Since then, I’ve raised over $2 million and empowered 3,000+ youth through healing-centered, sustainable programs.

I know what it’s like to carry it all, giving your best while sacrificing yourself. But hear me: you don’t have to do it alone. Let’s connect and move from surviving to thriving. Your future has been waiting on you—let’s make it happen!

Sis, it’s time for your organization to get F.R.E.E.

Meet Kara

Hey, beloved! I’m Coach Kara Jay. I’m a certified spiritual and life coach, a nonprofit leader, and your partner in reclaiming your vision and purpose. My story isn’t just about success—it’s about struggle, transformation, and leading with intention. At 20, I started my career in corporate America, climbing from a customer service rep to representing the Office of the CEO in roles like Risk Management and Project Strategy. My leadership was undeniable—I earned opportunities without ever having to apply. But even with all the accolades, I felt empty. I wanted more than a paycheck—I wanted to make an impact. In 2014, I co-founded The F.I.N.D. Design to support Black girls and girls of color navigating the same struggles I faced. It wasn’t easy. There were moments I felt like giving up. Then, a visit to the Whitney Plantation changed everything. I realized I’d been settling for crumbs in systems that weren’t built for me. That experience ignited Radical Freedom Dreaming, a framework that transformed my leadership, my organization, and my life.Since then, I’ve raised over $2 million and helped empower more than 3,000 youth through programs that center healing, joy, and sustainable change. I’ve built systems that allow me and my team to thrive—and now, I’m here to help you. I know the weight of leading, the hustle, and the sacrifices that come with it. But Sis, you don’t have to carry it all alone.Let’s connect. Together, we’ll move from surviving to thriving. Whether you’re ready to reclaim your energy, align with your vision, or build something sustainable, I’m here to guide you. The thriving future you’ve been waiting for has been waiting for you.”

Sis, it’s time for your organization to get F.R.E.E.

I could write an essay, but coach kara has always been an honorable coach. Every time I had a situation where I didn’t know how to get through it she gave me the mental clarity that I needed. She provided a non judgmental space, always teaching me and guiding me. She will uplift you, motivate you & see your light before you even see it. I couldn’t be the woman I have become today without her guidance and belief in me. I will always appreciate her for the time she has poured into me.
